About Camp Lutherhoma
Camp Lutherhoma is a year-round Christian camp and retreat ministry dedicated to helping people grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and experience God’s creation. Through summer camps, retreats, outdoor education, and special events, Camp Lutherhoma provides life-changing experiences for children, youth, families, and adults.
Position Summary
Camp Lutherhoma is seeking an energetic, faith-centered, and organized Program Director to lead the planning, development, and execution of camp programs throughout the year. The Program Director plays a key leadership role in creating engaging, safe, and mission-driven experiences that foster spiritual growth and community. This individual will oversee summer camp programming, recruit and supervise seasonal staff, coordinate retreat activities, and ensure programs align with the mission and values of Camp Lutherhoma.
Qualifications
- Active Christian faith and commitment to the mission of Camp Lutherhoma.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in camping, retreat ministry, youth programming, or outdoor education.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to recruit, train, and supervise staff and volunteers.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by camp programming.
- Ability to thrive in an outdoor camp environment.
