Lutheran Island Camp is seeking a dedicated and passionate Food Service Director to lead and manage the kitchen operations. In this role, you will provide a welcoming dining experience for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with care, nourishment, and comfort. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the kitchen, overseeing staff and meal preparation.
- Train, mentor, and supervise college-aged kitchen staff.
- Plan diverse and innovative menus for all meals, including special dietary accommodations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and acquire necessary certifications.
- Maintain inventory, order supplies, and work within a budget.
- Oversee kitchen cleanliness, organization, and functionality.
- Maintain equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
