Camp Concordia is seeking its next Executive Director to provide oversight for all camp operations and lead the ministry in a forward-thinking, strategic direction. The Executive Director will partner with Camp Concordia’s dedicated Board of Directors, hard-working staff, and committed volunteers to accomplish Camp’s mission, which is to provide opportunities for children, youth, and families to encounter Christ in the midst of God’s creation. The Executive Director’s primary responsibilities include proper stewardship and administration of the ministry’s operations (staff, volunteers, programs, and properties/facilities), strategic plans, finances, fundraising, community relations, and regulatory compliance. These responsibilities will be carried out in collaboration with the Board of Directors and within established guidelines so that the ministry’s objectives are achieved.
Camp Concordia, a 60-acre children’s camp and registered service organization (RSO) of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, is located within beautiful woodlands on Halfmile Lake, 35 minutes north of Grand Rapids in Gowen, Michigan.
